Wet'suwet'en Hereditary Chiefs were upholding their responsibilities and monitoring Woos' territory. They were denied access from the Coastal GasLink security and RCMP were present to read them the injunction and threaten them with arrest. Their reasoning was they would not allow our cameraperson on site as media is "not allowed".
This is the greatest disrespect to our Dinï ze'.

"The EAO’s Oct. 14 order states that Coastal GasLink “must cease all variations from an approved work execution plan that are not in accordance with the agreement,” and must “cease installation of measures that are not specified in a work execution plan.”
CGL seems to be confused about what the word STOP means and also that they are walking on thin ice and should be getting more than just 'notices'. They continue to do whatever they please and ignore any kind of attempt at enforcement of the LAW.
They continue drilling and BLASTING while salmon are actively spawning.
We are defending Wedzin Kwa for everyone. ALL the beings that depend on her. Including all the humans downstream, whether they acknowledge it or not.
